The Landing

Because the questions don’t stop when the baby arrives.

Best for

Parents who want dedicated time to understand postpartum recovery, make sense of their birth experience, prepare questions for their healthcare teams, or simply feel less like they were handed a baby and a stack of discharge instructions and told to figure out the rest.

Available as a stand-alone service after delivery, or as an add-on to The Navigation Session, The Deep Dive, or The Continuing Journey.

Birth has an endpoint. The transition into postpartum life does not.

There is your recovery. Your baby’s care. Feeding decisions. Sleep. Pain. Bleeding. Mood changes. Follow-up appointments. Contraception. And the surprisingly difficult question of figuring out which parts of what you’re experiencing are normal, which are worth asking about, and who you’re supposed to ask.

Then there is the birth itself. Sometimes everything went exactly as expected. Sometimes it didn’t. And sometimes you leave the hospital with a healthy baby, a discharge packet, and a lingering sense that you still don’t completely understand what just happened.

The Landing gives you dedicated time after delivery to make sense of the transition.

We can discuss what to expect during postpartum recovery, common concerns that arise in the first weeks after birth, questions to bring to your obstetric or pediatric care teams, and the parts of your delivery experience you are still trying to understand.

This is not a replacement for postpartum medical care or pediatric care. It is space to learn, reflect, prepare, and figure out what questions need to go where.

Because leaving the hospital shouldn’t mean the conversation is over.
